i like it it has alot of my favourites on there. The only one i don't like being on there is Heard It Break cause it seems too B-side-y ish too me they should've put Problem Solved instead but oh well. Apart from that, looks great Oh yay! Just noticed Kinda Girl You Are! Really happy now

So the only one we dont have is Kinda Girl You Are?
13 tracks is pretty good for a CD nowadays
Im not convinced by the artwork though

Have had a chance to properly listen to all the tracks, and 5 of my favourites aren't on the CD album, so I just decided the easiest option is to do an album of my own with all the non-CD tracks (there are 8), plus a random two to make up the 10.

I thought Problem Solved would definitely make it to the physical album, weird. But I do like the tracklist so far and I'm curious about Kinda Girl You Are.
Doesn't seem like there's going to be a limited edition though, does it?

From the clips, I think Heard it Break is awful so a bit gutted they have put that on there instead of my favourite Cousin In The Bronx

Thanks for posting that Sal.
My two least favourite songs are there, meh
And...WHAT? Am i blind or Problem Solved is really not there? Hmm, this sucks.
Although it's nice to see a "new" new song Kinda Girl You Are...

But they didn't even do Problem Solved live either >_< maybe it's not one of their personal favourites :/ i love that song though. Really can't wait to hear a recorded version of Kinda Girl You Are, it went down really well live

do an album of my own with all the non-CD tracks (there are 8), plus a random two to make up the 10. Think I'm gonna do the same, I really want a physical copy, but I also want all twenty tracks, so that seems the best way to go!

I am really surprised also, but they were playing it in soundcheck at the Falmouth gigs and from what I can remember asking the band is that they will play it eventually

I was afraid they'd do this, I'd have been much happier with a 2CD set with a plain cover. Not a fan of that artwork at all.
Not happy with the omissions of Problem Solved, My Place Is Here or I Dare You. Likewise I thought Things Change and Heard It Break were quite b-sidey.
Kinda Girl You Are could be good. And interesting inclusion.
But I don't think I'll be able to listen to this version of the album without thinking to myself "Well my version was better!"

I was surprised about Problem Solved too I must admit. Future single?
My album listing would have been:
Little Shocks I Dare You Out Of Focus When All Is Quiet Can't Mind My Own Business Kinda Girl You Are Child Of The Jago Cousin In The Bronx Fly On The Wall Problem Solved Long Way From Celebrating Coming Up For Air If You Will Have Me (although I can't listen to it as it makes me cry)
Closely followed by Man on Mars and Dead Or In Serious trouble on the deluxe 15 track Sally edition.

I've decided it would be really fabulous if they'd put their opening music, the track they now walk out onto the stage to and start playing, at the start of the album. Ain't gonna happen, but it would be awesome.

So at least we're getting 3 new tracks out of this by the looks of things. Should be interesting to hear.

I hope they don't put the others as b-sides because I'm greedy and want more songs. But a compromise for those who can't download we could have 2 b-sides. Problem solved! ;-) (oh I crack myself up!)

New Mailout:
"Cheers to all of you that have created, and downloaded your own bespoke versions of our 4th album 'The Future Is Medieval'.
Due to the overwhelming success of this process, it's created lots of chatter, and demand for an 'official' album. So it's time to simplify things a bit, and release a CD & standard Digital album of 'The Future Is Medieval'.
Rather than wait ages, do all the dull stuff where we talk about it for months, send it out to press & all that, we're just getting it out as soon as we can physically make the CDs and ship them to the shops.
We recorded 23 songs for 'The Future Is Medieval', in amongst the newies we've been playing 'Kinda Girl You Are' live at the first few shows, which you seem to be digging. That one missed the website, simply because it wasn't finished, we were recording & mixing right up until week of release and 'Kinda Girl You Are' was the last through the gatepost. We recorded that one with our favourite guru Mr Ethan Johns, it will be on the CD version.
On the iTunes release will be the track 'City', an eerie creepy one we recorded back in March also with Ethan at the controls.
Our tracklisting for 'The Future Is Medieval' on CD is:
1. Little Shocks 2. Things Change 3. Long Way From Celebrating 4. Starts With Nothing 5. Out Of Focus 6. Dead Or In Serious Trouble 7. When All Is Quiet 8. Kinda Girl You Are 9. Man On Mars 10. Child Of The Jago 11. Heard It Break 12. Coming Up For Air 13. If You Will Have Me
The CD will be available from June 27th at all the usual retailers. As well as exclusive artwork & booklet, the UK version of the CD will feature an exclusive extra track not available on the website.
iTunes will feature the exclusive track 'City', and the live intro some of you have been asking about 'Howlaround'."
Ahh so that's what Howlaround is. Just had a listen to the preview of it on iTunes and sure enough, there it is. WANT!
