My sister-in-law has no sense of smell, although she says she can taste things ok. When she was a baby, the family came down with carbon monoxide poisoning thanks to a faulty boiler and it was thought that maybe that was the cause, maybe it damaged her sense of smell permanently as she was so young. Interesting to read about someone else's experience of it though. Quite a good article for the Mail! I didn't realise you suffered from this too?
