Hello just joined - I've never been to see the band live but am really pleased to see there is a Friday gig at Wolverhampton next Feb. Looking for advice off forum folk - I'm at work Friday when tickets go on sale - do you think I'll be ok buying one at 5pm after work? I'll only want one ticket - its 3 days before my 40th so I'd love to go (but none of my friends would want to go so guess I'll go on my own as don't see why I should miss seeing them!) Don't know how to buy pre sale tickets so will have to try Fri night - just hoping they don't sell out. I saw Blur recently at the Civic - amazing!

Knew I'd only be able to just do a London date and was really hoping it would be Brixton... Very pleased they're playing there; I do like that venue. Would love to do multiple nights, but not really feasible atm for one reason or another... Hope everyone gets the tix they want.

Make that Manchester too! ;D Courtesy of my wonderful best mate; just told me she bought them yesterday as an early birthday present to me for Saturday... (Even though being yet further away from the wrong side of 40 is something I'd really rather just bypass completely) She knows me so well; knew I'd booked London, but knew I'd more than love a little jaunt to Manchester... A Chiefy gig, combined with great shopping and a pretty decent nightlife. Perfect. Seems we're gonna be making a weekend of it... She has just got the most massive hug ever!

I will be in Manchester, Bridlington & Newcaste ... well my friends arent that much into Kaiser Chiefs so I most likely will be going alone too ... but as said above I usually meet awesome folks at the gigs. If anyone wants to meet up PM away ... any rumours yet who will be supporting? I am so hoping for TRANSFER as they have a new album coming up and the KC crew is still wearing their TShirts haha (spotted at Reading). But then again they already toured with them .... mmmhhh.

Nothing says they can't do it twice But if it's the same as last year, supports should be announced in October. And i'm another one who generally goes to gigs alone. I find it easier to get to the barrier seeing as people don't like waiting beforehand in my experience. But i have met many nice people at gigs

Can anyone offer any ideas for somewhere decent to stay in Manchester for a couple of nights...? Half decent will do The place we'd preliminarily booked has fallen through. Don't ask. So many places and so many reviews; not always easy to guage their credibility... All I actually want at the end of the day is just a clean, reasonably priced twin room... With the amount of seasoned gig goers there are on here... And remembering on the old forum how everyone used to exchange accommodation experiences... Figured this would be a good place to get some trusted recommendations...

I don't really know about This Many Boyfriends, not too sure from what i've heard either. I reckon they'll be good live though edit- Racehorses have since split, so i'm presuming, if they replace them that slot it TBA.

No not yet, not received any of them. I've had the usual 'we haven't forgotten you, your tickets will be posted nearer the time etc.' order update emails from See recently though. I'm sure it'll be fine.
Yay Schmim!

Bit slow off the mark, but I'm off to Margate and Brixton. Woop woop! Same as me! woop woop Have you been to Margate Winter Gardens before? I was looking at tickets and they said block 3 unreserved. I just wondered if you knew if that meant they were upstairs standing? I'm seriously considering it, but I wouldn't want to be upstairs. Although it's not like I'm not going to see the KC because I am going to Brixton!lol!
