So the night before the official R&L Festival line up announcement, this seems to be the strongest rumoured poster so far: I guess we'll see it if holds up tomorrow... really want to see all of the headliners, but if this line up sticks, would prob go for a Sunday Leeds day ticket myself.

Well out of that lot I'd be thrilled to see The Cure, Kasabian, Garbage, Black Keys, Tenacious D as I've never seen them before. Would love to see Foos and Florence again, curious about The Vaccines, Justice, Black Keys, the Horrors (everyone says the new stuff is really good) and The Maccabees, and obviously very pleased with The Cribs and Chiefs. So that's a solid 14. Not too bad at all for an initial poster and before even checking out the bands I haven't heard of, I saw 28 bands/comedians last year so I'd be half way to that!
EDIT: Oh and forgot Bloc Party, so that's 15!

Blimey was it 28?! Mind you, it felt like 28 by the Monday morning. So there we have it: Bit disappointed in the line up in general so no weekend ticket for me, although the headliners are ace plus Cribs too - however Friday Foos, Chiefs & Black Keys, that'll do me. Woohoo!

TITP lineup was better in my opinion. Or V Fest.

Noel Gallagher, Frank Turner, Happy Mondays, Stone Roses, Simple Minds, New Order, Kasabian, Elbow, Shed Seven, Spector... and Chiefs, like.... Fantastic.
Wonder what the crowd will make of The Wanted!
