Ditto Then they don't have to give a password out then i suppose, easier for them, it's just a link and no confusion. But i really don't like Facebook. If it's the same company they use as they did for the Falmouth dates then it's set up for mine so it could work out ok my end edit - There are links up on Facebook now saying "on sale soon". I saw "Buy Tickets"...the teases... lol.

Yep, just seen those Buy Tickets links now.
It's like a little game. Hunt the gig dates and pre-sale links. Annoying.

Aah Mop, glad to see someone is up as early as me! I got my boyfriend to buy the Kirkstall tickets off Facebook and he said it was a right hassle, so I'm registered and ready.

Thanks, and good luck to you and everyone! Hope you all get the ones you want. Ooh also does anyone know if you can buy tickets for different dates together and just pay for postage once? Looks like you can with it having a shopping cart bit. Ta.

Is it wrong I've already got my twitter and facebook messages of annoyance ready to post 2 minutes after I've got my ticket? It goes something like 'what was wrong with a nice friendly email with a little link to a fresh page on your shiny new website - even White Lies can manage that and when I think of 'ticket buying' and 'White Lies' the words 'brewery' 'couldn't' and 'piss-up' spring to mind.'
Prices are a piss take too. White Lies are charging £5 less (which is still nearly £5 hike since their last tour) for the same sort of venues.
I like the posts on the London event page asking KC to email them the details of the tour...

£5 fucking 46 booking fee??? And delivery for London tickets is £1.75 but Manchester is £3.95? I know one is standard and one is recorded but you don't even get the choice of standard for Manchester.
'Thank You for your purchase
The event details have been posted to your stream You are attending the event' What if I didn't want it posted to my stream or to be 'attending' the event?

Got my Newcastle and Blackpool, and I'm happy as larry. And I think all gig tickets have gone up lately, but was expecting them to be about £25 anyway, borrowed money from here there and everywhere to get them.

I was only trying for 4 tickets so didn't realise there was a limit. That's really annoying, I can only think it's a way to stop touts (as they did tweet that there were "limited presale tickets"). It all went so smoothly (Hammersmith, Lincoln, Southend and Folkestone) that I would have considered doing other dates (Bristol maybe, haven't been there for years) but I can't today as my limit is used up, and Friday I'll be in Leeds for the festival when the general sale is on (and that will be busy, you can guarantee it).
Prices are stupidly high, though, so maybe it is a good idea I can't get any more tickets....

£25 is actually cheaper than i expected, a ticket in switzerland for a venue of the same size costs €45 and the normal prices in mainland europe are around 30€, mostly even higher. the fees for delivery are stupidly high, but they're stupidly high everywhere and for everyone...

Four max per household, per tour.
So will I be able to try for Hammersmith another day? Can't see it working if it's per household and per tour. I don't want to jeopardise the ones I've bought already...
I can see doing it this way could harm touts, but will it.... Ebay might have to be an option, for me to buy a fecking London Ticket!
Absolutely bloody fuming if I'm honest.

I don't know. I guess I'm just pissed off and taking that literally! I'll give it a go in the morning, fingers crossed. Hope anyone else trying gets lucky too.
Just as a side issue about ticket prices, thought I'd look at what Ticketmaster are selling at the moment. Will Young - £40.25 inc booking, Plan B £31.50. Chiefs suddenly doesn't seem too bad.

I looked up Crowdsurge on the site and they don't seem to have any connection to Ticketmaster, they say they are independent, so you should be OK tomorrow.

4 tickets max per household, per tour is a bit ridiculous if you ask me but ho hum. Seems like I won't make it to the UK tour so I'm not bothered.
Fingers crossed everyone will get the tickets they want.
