Ah, that sucks i had that problem last month with another gig and a right mess up with some times. Thankfully got to see them another night. And yes, FATHS were absolutely brilliant the new song/s sounded great as well. They didn't play Berlin Calls though which was a shame, but was nice to hear Possibilities and 'Postcard back in the set since last seeing them. Probably one of the loveliest bands i've had the pleasure to meet as well. Really liked Cheetahs, will try and get to see them again one day. Heard the beginning of Veronica Falls, they sounded alright, but i had to leave to get the train back home unfortunately. With some other added extras it was overall a great night with all great bands Was also nice to go back to the 100 Club so soon, really nice venue.

The Rolling Stones! A huge huge thanks to a *very* dedicated lifelong Stones fan friend of mine... Who took the day off work and sat patiently refreshing pages... Judging by other people's tales of disappointment at not being able to secure tickets, it would seem she was one very lucky lady. Stupidly overpriced, yes, but it's not as though it's something that's gonna be happening on a regular basis... And I've never yet seen them live. Can't wait! ;D

Well done getting tickets, hope you have a good time. Paul Weller & Miles Kane at the Hammersmith Apollo in December. Really chuffed about this, I've waited a very long time to see Weller live - never quite managed to get to a gig in the past. Love Miles Kane too, so I'm really looking forward to it.

As if any of us have got any money left for souvenirs! I'm assuming you mean you're hoping you've got enough merch...? As someone once said to me... No sense in worrying about something; it won't change the outcome. What will be will be. Okay, sometimes easier said than done... But all anybody can do is work with what they have and give it their best shot... No-one can ask for any more. I'm sure when it comes to it though, everything will turn out just fine. I shall probably just buy a 'token' memory myself; something small to remind me of the night... I'll have my ticket stub after all. Assuming that is that I don't manage to lose it after too many overpriced drinks

When I say "hope we've got the merch" what I meant is that I hope the company I work for now and again have got the concession to sell the t-shirts and other associated stuff, then hopefully that will mean I'll be working.
Working = free gig

Ah I see; wasn't sure exactly what you meant... Knew you did the merch at certain gigs from the old forum... Good luck with getting this one.

Really chuffed about this, I've waited a very long time to see Weller live - never quite managed to get to a gig in the past. Thanks - you too. That's brilliant; always lovely when you finally get to see that artist or band you've never seen... I should imagine he'd be really rather good live... Do post a review please... I still do Chiefs with Joff whenever needed, but also help others with other bands too. So how does it all work then, in terms of which company 'gets' the merchandise for a particular tour? I've often wondered; hope you don't mind me asking... Must be a great job. And all those free gigs! Bet you really are crossing everything for The Stones.

Colin Hay (Men At Work) at Shepherds Bush Empire in May. A great storyteller and fantastic guitarist. Could listen to his voice all day long. Can't wait.
And Eric Clapton the week after at the Royal Albert Hall.
Only problem is, him indoors bought tickets for an 80's festival on the same day. I hadn't put Clapton in the diary, so he didn't think we had anything on. Clapton wins, but it's frustrating as Midge Ure, Howard Jones and Bananarama are playing the festival!
